“Education costs money, but then so does ignorance”
-Sir Claus Moser
“Education´s purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one”
-Malcolm Forbes
I hold dearly that education is a key to wish fulfilling gems. In this point in time, without an education, life often is clearly more difficult to live. Therefore it was with my aim and determination that many friends from all over the world took an interest in education in Tibet. It has become clear to us that with education, the Tibetan people can develop their own country with the help of others such as China and other nations. We also realized that the best gift to share with one another is education with the right attitude. With a clear frame of mind and determination, we were able to build 108 schools and 108 libraries within Tibet in cooperation with the local people of the areas as well as the Chinese authorities both inland and abroad.
We are proud to announce to the world that now more than 250 students who have graduated from our schools are now studying in highschools and universities both in Lhasa and China, and that 13,000 children are studying in our 108 schools. With the help of our old and new sponsors, our project can continue to make a difference in Tibet.
Although Tibet has changed harmoniously, Tibet still needs help in global development. That way mainland China does not need to support Tibet economically forever.
If you are interested in our projects in Tibet and would like to support this meaningful mission, please contact us. When you sponsor a Tibetan child, you are helping to develop Tibet as well.

Hi Soenam! I randomly came upon your site and it looks like you have done so many things. I was particularly interested in the schools you’ve built. I did see your organization’s website but was wondering if you have written any books or have any articles where I could learn more?
Tashi Delek Anon,
You are the first one who has aimed your Gurtog (Tibetan slingshot) towards my blogg and left a mark! I have actually written several books, but you can read “The Jewels of Tibet”, which has more information on our school project in Tibet/China. This will be available to order through the shop on my site in the near future, but if you want a copy sooner, you can purchase them online (www.tibet-school.org) or at the House of Tibet in Enskede.
Good Luck!
The Prophet
Speak to us of Children.
And he said:
Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life´s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you.
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls.
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.

Your comment is very wise and I read the Kahli Gibran philopsophy and I do agree with you and the prophet. If we all can think like him and pratice like him then the whole world will be a different place today. Thank you for your comment!
Tashi Delek Mia S,
Please keep on your good work for Khandro and I am sure she will get a good work in the future. Are you planning to go to Tibet to see your Khandro? If you are going to Tibet then Khandro and her relatives will be very happy to see you.
Let us hope you can go to Tibet after some years.
Thukje Che ( Thank you)
